Everything under the hood. One shop.

A/C and cooling are the specialty. PA inspections, brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical round out the rest — all makes and models, domestic and import.

How your A/C actually works

Scroll to follow the refrigerant around the loop — hot to cold, the way we diagnose it. When one of these four stations fails, your vents blow warm. We find which one.

STATION 01 / 04

Compressor

The heart of the system. It squeezes low-pressure refrigerant vapor into hot, high-pressure gas and pumps it around the loop. Failed clutches, worn seals, and bad bearings start here — and so does our diagnosis.

HIGH PRESSURE · HOT GAS
STATION 02 / 04

Condenser

Mounted up front by the radiator, it dumps heat to the outside air and condenses the hot gas into liquid. Road debris, bent fins, and slow leaks here are some of the most common — and most missed — A/C failures.

HEAT REJECTION
STATION 03 / 04

Expansion Valve

The pressure drop. Liquid refrigerant flashes through a tiny orifice and turns ice-cold. A clogged or stuck valve means weak cooling on one side, frozen lines on the other — a classic misdiagnosis at general shops.

STATION 04 / 04

Evaporator

Buried in your dash, it absorbs heat from the cabin air blowing across it — that's the cold air at your vents. Leaks here are hard to reach and easy to miss. Finding them is what we've done for 30+ years.
