Coastal opened on Bustleton Pike in the early '90s with one focus: automotive air conditioning and cooling systems. It's technical, precise work — the kind that requires specialized equipment, a deep understanding of refrigerant systems, and the patience to actually find a leak instead of guessing where it might be. Customers came to us because the dealership couldn't figure it out, the chain shop didn't want to deal with it, or the work just hadn't held up somewhere else.
That focus built our reputation. Drivers across Bucks and Montgomery counties learned that if their A/C wasn't working — or their radiator, their water pump, their cooling fan, their heater core — Coastal was where you took it. And once they trusted us with the hard work, they started asking us to do the rest, too.

Why we're rebranding.
"Coastal Radiator & Air" was an honest name when we opened — it told you exactly what we did. Three decades and thousands of brake jobs, inspections, and engine repairs later, the name was selling us short. Coastal Auto Repair matches what we've actually been doing for years: full-service work for the whole vehicle, with the same air-conditioning expertise that started it all.
Same shop. Same crew. Same phone number. Same standards. Just a name that finally tells the whole story.
What hasn't changed.
The work still gets done at 1100 Bustleton Pike. The phone still gets answered by a real person at 215-322-4510. Air conditioning is still our specialty and still some of the best work we do. And we still tell you the truth about your car — what's wrong, what it costs, and what can wait.
