Richboro is about 15 minutes up 2nd Street Pike from our shop in Feasterville-Trevose. Northampton Township drivers bring us the A/C and cooling problems other shops keep missing, their yearly PA inspections, and the wear-and-tear repairs that come with driving 232 and 332 every day. We've been doing this work on Bustleton Pike for more than 30 years.
Richboro sits where 2nd Street Pike (Route 232) crosses Almshouse Road (Route 332), with Tyler State Park right along its northern edge. Most Richboro cars split their time between winding township roads and the daily run toward Newtown, the turnpike, or Philadelphia. That mix shows up in what we fix.
The wooded stretches around Tyler State Park and the Neshaminy Creek crossings are prime deer territory, especially at dusk in the fall. Even a low-speed hit can crack the A/C condenser or radiator behind the grille. Once the body work is done, the car often still runs hot or blows warm. Replacing condensers and radiators is the work this shop was built on, so we can handle that part for you or coordinate with your body shop.
The roads around Richboro roll up and down toward the creek, with plenty of four-way stops in between. That's harder on brake pads and rotors than steady highway driving. If you're hearing squeals, feeling a pulsing pedal, or the car pulls when you stop, we'll measure what's left and tell you honestly whether it needs work now or can wait.
The ride down 2nd Street Pike through Southampton is slow at rush hour. Long idling in summer traffic is where a weak fan, an aging water pump, or a partly clogged radiator shows itself first. A temperature gauge that creeps up in traffic and drops back down on the open road is an early warning. Catch it then and it's usually a much cheaper cooling-system repair.
We're a PennDOT inspection station. If your car passes, you're done. If it doesn't, we show you exactly what failed and price the fix before touching anything, so you're never pressured into a repair you didn't approve.

From the center of Richboro at 2nd Street Pike and Almshouse Road, head south on 2nd Street Pike through Southampton to Street Road. Turn east on Street Road to Bustleton Pike, and the shop is at 1100 Bustleton Pike. It's about 6 miles and usually around 15 minutes.
A lot of Northampton Township customers drop the car off in the morning on the way to work and pick it up on the way home. Call ahead and we'll have it on the schedule when you pull in.
Work trucks and fleets. If you run trucks or vans out of the township for work, we have two truck lifts and a dedicated fleet labor rate. We can schedule maintenance around your jobs so vehicles come in on a slow day.
Financing. Larger repairs can be financed through 1stMile if you'd rather not pay the full cost at once.
Don't see yours? Call the shop and ask. We're glad to talk it through before you bring the car in.
